Muslims wishing to organize iftars at the Grand Holy Mosque during Ramadan can apply for a permit through the government's online portal, the state news agency SPA reported on Sunday.
The General Authority for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has launched an electronic portal through which people can request permits to hold iftar in the mosque in Mecca during the holy month.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the website of the General President, selecting iftar banquets, and proceeding with the registration procedures for the issuance of permits.
Ramadan is expected to begin next week.
