The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques is striving to enhance its services to accommodate the large number of pilgrims and guests, with a special focus on Friday prayers. The authority aims to ensure a seamless experience for pilgrims performing their religious duties on the busiest day of the week at the Grand Mosque in Makkah.
One of the most valuable services provided to worshippers at the mosque on Fridays was offering spatial guidance to non-Arabic speakers, which benefited 55,728 individuals. The Friday sermon was translated into several languages and made available on 2,800 translation devices.
The presidency also distributed 112,320 bottles of Zamzam water to keep pilgrims hydrated. In addition, authorities used 2,550 liters of freshener products and 130,000 liters of disinfectants to sanitize facilities. Sterilization machines were used to dispense 2,550 liters of hand sanitizer to pilgrims.
Islamic booklets and pamphlets were distributed to 2,050 worshippers, while about 750 individuals utilized the library at the Grand Mosque in Makkah. To ensure safety, 325 young children were given wristbands, and 1,820 beneficiaries received social and humanitarian services.
