The 21st annual festival of creativity and design, organized by the National Home Health Care Foundation, is being held as part of the Jeddah Events Season 2022.
The Bisat Al-Reeh exhibition, held under the patronage of Princess Adela bint Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, aims to promote creativity in the world of fashion, jewelry, and furniture, as well as to nurture young talents.
The five-day event serves as a showcase for people of all ages and professions, where they can display their handmade products and designs to a wide audience.
On Saturday, Jeddah Season tweeted to promote the event: «For all lovers of style and original design, #Basat Al-Reeh returns with many surprises that will make you happy at #Jeddah_Superdome, come to us and enjoy viewing the most amazing jewelry. designs from the most famous brands.».
One of the highlights of this year's exhibition is a collaborative multifaceted sculpture created by a group of Saudi male and female artists. The work, titled «Ana Juz2 (Ana Juz'a)» — which translates as «I am a part» — allows each of the artists to present their own artistic vision through a three-dimensional model, where each element is displayed in a specific sequence. different points in the exhibition hall.
The purpose of the work is to encourage people to unite in their communities and promote greater social responsibility. At the end of the show, the various elements will be sold off, and the proceeds will go to support the work of NHHCF.
Princess Adela, chairwoman of the foundation's board of trustees, said: «The foundation works for noble goals, as today it serves 10 different regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
«Its goals are to provide home medical care in addition to meeting the psychological and social needs of patients and supporting them with consumable medical equipment and supplies, as well as enhancing the functional capabilities of patients and supporting them until they achieve their own independence.».
This year, Bisat Al-Reeh is open to women only from Tuesday to Friday, and on Saturdays it welcomes families. Opening hours are from 16:30 to 19:00 every day.
