Jordanian Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs highly praised the development of Saudi Arabia's transportation services for Hajj pilgrims, while himself performing the pilgrimage, reports the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Mohammad al-Halayleh mentioned, in particular, the Haramain High-Speed Railway project, one of the major projects designed to serve pilgrims and those performing Umrah who seek to visit the two holy mosques.
In a statement to SPA before departing for the holy sites in Mecca aboard the Haramain High-Speed Railway from Medina, the minister reiterated that Jordanian pilgrims will benefit from the diverse transportation services that will enable pilgrims to move easily and quickly, whether by train, ground transport via buses, or domestic air transport.
He added that this reflects the sincere and great efforts undertaken by the Kingdom under the leadership of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The minister expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the government of the Kingdom for all the services and facilities provided to pilgrims to facilitate the journey of Hajj.
