The King Salman Humanitarian Aid Center has completed the third voluntary training program in Al-Mukalla, Yemen, in cooperation with the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training and the Saudi Red Crescent.
During the program, training courses were organized, including carpentry and finishing work, in which 80 people participated, computer maintenance, in which 83 people participated, sea rescue, in which 16 divers participated, as well as first aid and psychological counseling, in which 821 people participated.
In May, the center's general supervisor discussed the humanitarian situation in Yemen with the charge d'affaires of the U.S. Embassy. During the meeting, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabiah and Martina Strong also discussed ways to combat the COVID-19 pandemic and reduce the health risks they pose to countries in need.
