The Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan, Grand Mufti Nauryzbai Kazhy Taganuly held talks with the Minister of Hajj and Umrah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Tawfik ibn Fawzan al-Rabia to reduce the cost of the Hajj for Kazakhstanis.
This was announced by the official website of the Spiritual Board of Muslims of Kazakhstan.
The Supreme Mufti of Kazakhstan suggested paying attention to fixing the cost of air transportation for pilgrims at an acceptable level, ensuring the safety of compatriots, providing maximum discounts on hotel accommodation and improving service.
“Praise be to the Almighty, the number of those wishing to make the Hajj in our country is increasing every year. Our goal is to organize the Hajj trip at the highest level. The Hajj mission of Kazakhstan is effectively working in this direction. We have a wish that you reduce the prices for services. This step will be a great support for our pilgrims,” said Nauryzbay kazhy Taganuly.
Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfiq ibn Fawzan ar-Rabia said that the ministry would provide maximum support to Kazakh pilgrims.
In 2022, 4,000 Kazakhstanis made the Hajj. On a competitive basis, 14 travel agencies have been identified that are suitable for serving pilgrims.
