Turkish Consul General in Jeddah, Mustafa Unal, and Turkey’s Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Mehmet Metin Eker, visited the Hira Cultural District in Makkah, according to the Saudi Press Agency on Tuesday.
During their tour, the officials praised Saudi Arabia’s efforts to enrich the cultural and religious experience of pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors, especially at sites with historical significance for Muslims.
A highlight of the tour was the Revelation Gallery, which showcases the revelations received by Prophet Muhammad and educates visitors about the history and legacy of his mission.
The Hira Cultural District, opened last January, also houses the Holy Quran Museum and other culturally significant items.
