<\/p>\nThis year's Jeddah Season presents Saudi fashion brands and introduces them to audiences through the Fashion Village in the City Walk zone.<\/p>\n

One such brand is the contemporary clothing line Galag, which features comfortable everyday pieces and designs inspired by automobiles and Saudi heritage.<\/p>\n
\u00abGalag is a collective founded in 2013 consisting of a group of car enthusiasts, photographers, and videographers passionately devoted to exploration and using road trips as a means for it,\u00bb Galag owner Sultan Al-Faisal told Arab News. \u00abThe Galag clothing line originated in 2017 as a creative outlet in response to demand from Galag supporters for a tangible product and quickly gained popularity in Europe, the US, and East Asia before being introduced on the Saudi scene in 2019.\u00bb.<\/p>\n

One of the things that sets Galag apart is its footwear collection, which not many Saudi brands offer, as it is difficult to produce, but Al-Faisal and his team embraced the challenge.<\/p>\n
\u00abOur sneakers are made in Portugal, and it is our own design. We wanted to create a timeless silhouette that would pair with anything, and the materials are synonymous with quality and durability.\u00bb.<\/p>\n
At Riyadh Season, the brand participated in the concept store E'Space with an earlier collection titled \u00abCosmopolis.\u00bb.<\/p>\n

The pop-up in Jeddah is called Galag Garage, which is a spinoff of the main brand.<\/p>\n
\u00abThe experience of participating in Jeddah Season was excellent. People were enthusiastic and gave us a warm reception that we could not have even dreamed of.<\/p>\n
\u00abOther participants of the season also showed their support, and that is invaluable to us. We are just happy that we were offered to take part in it, and that the Jeddah Season team saw enough value in us and entrusted us with the opportunity to participate.\u00bb.<\/p>\n
Galag's upcoming plans include more active involvement in some of the communities and subcultures present in Jeddah.<\/p>\n

\u00abThere are many communities and groups that we believe have not received the support and attention they deserve, such as the skateboarder community group, the Sillyboys team, working with them to help them grow, then that will be a success for us, definitely something to look forward to.<\/p>\n
\u00abIn the end, we just want to provide the Saudi consumer with a new choice as a Saudi brand, and we hope that this will strengthen the language of Saudi design and expand it so that people do not look at us as just one entity \u2014 pay attention to design.\u00bb.<\/p>\n
The second Jeddah Season, held under the slogan \u00abOur Beautiful Days,\u00bb follows the success of Riyadh Season, which recorded more than 15 million visits over five months.
